Sreejana Medley built mechanisms to import data from APIs, CSVs, and text files, ensuring consistent and reliable access to information. They also integrated data from services like UA, a professional provider used by many colleges, transforming and deduplicating information in bulk to keep records accurate.
The platform enabled tracking of athlete performance, communications, and interactions, eliminating manual inefficiencies. Coaches could identify promising high school athletes, communicate seamlessly via Gmail plug-ins, and maintain a unified log of athlete progress.
Native apps for iOS and Android allowed coaches to access the platform on the go, meeting modern user expectations. When smartphones emerged, Sreejana Medley quickly pivoted to create native apps for multiple platforms—ensuring on-the-field recruiters and coaches stayed connected from anywhere.
Legacy systems were updated to .NET Core, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring future readiness. The original software combined .NET 4.0 and Ruby on Rails, but Sreejana Medley unified the codebase in .NET Core for better performance and easier upkeep.
The platform provided drill-down reports for compliance teams, helping institutions adhere to NCAA regulations. A dedicated interface allowed staff to filter by compliance level, rosters, and other criteria, sending automated emails or SMS to athletes when issues arose.
A separate module allowed institutions to track alumni achievements and maintain ongoing relationships. This feature enabled staff to add notes on former athletes’ post-graduation milestones, fostering stronger ties between alumni and their alma maters.
